American Overhead Door & Dock seeks a Regional Sales Representative to serve the Lehigh Valley, Reading, and areas west of the Philadelphia metro region. The Regional Sales Representative to drive sales and build lasting relationships. In this role, you'll be instrumental in expanding our market presence, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to meet our clients' needs.
Successful Regional Sales Representatives will oversee:
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for existing and potential customers within your assigned territory. Understand their needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by researching and analyzing market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
- Sales Presentations: Effectively present our range of products and services to prospective clients, highlighting features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Negotiation & Closing: Prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations for business growth.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using our CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful outside sales experience, specifically in selling tangible products. Experience in the construction or industrial sectors is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand technical products and convey complex information clearly.
- Self-Motivated: Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and achieve sales goals without constant supervision.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred A demonstrated ability to build rapport with businesses will be considered in lieu of a degree.
