Key Responsibilities
- Participate in training programs to improve safety knowledge and practices
- Operate various types of fork trucks safely and efficiently
- Restock raw materials for manufacturing machines
- Remove finished goods from the production floor and store them properly
- Organize outbound shipments using release information
- Load and unload freight as it arrives and leaves the facility
- Maintain electric batteries for fork trucks and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Conduct monthly cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels
- Receive material using the AS400 system and create labels as needed
- Keep the S/R work area clean and organized
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fork truck license required
