">Job Description:
">Maintenance Technicians play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's electrical and mechanical systems.
">Responsibilities include daily troubleshooting and routine maintenance activities, as well as process improvements and input in production problem solving.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Track work orders and preventive maintenance using our computerized maintenance system.
- Read and troubleshoot PLC programs in the plant.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including AC/DC drives, motors, contactors, and transformers.
- Perform fabrication and welding assignments as assigned.
- Participate in training and actively practice the SPOT Safety Program fundamentals.
Requirements:
">- Training in National Electrical Code, NFPA 79, Arc Flash, and AC/DC Motors, and basic PLC troubleshooting.
- Ability to install and troubleshoot control circuits and communication systems.
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical power transmission equipment.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Working knowledge of compressor systems and HVAC.
Education and Experience:
">- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2-3 years related experience from a manufacturing environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
">- Working knowledge of PLC-based systems and AC/DC drive systems.
