Job Description:

Maintenance Technicians play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities include daily troubleshooting and routine maintenance activities, as well as process improvements and input in production problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track work orders and preventive maintenance using our computerized maintenance system.
• Read and troubleshoot PLC programs in the plant.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including AC/DC drives, motors, contactors, and transformers.
• Perform fabrication and welding assignments as assigned.
• Participate in training and actively practice the SPOT Safety Program fundamentals.

Requirements:

• Training in National Electrical Code, NFPA 79, Arc Flash, and AC/DC Motors, and basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to install and troubleshoot control circuits and communication systems.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical power transmission equipment.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Working knowledge of compressor systems and HVAC.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2-3 years related experience from a manufacturing environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Working knowledge of PLC-based systems and AC/DC drive systems.
