Overview
The role of the Sourcing Recruiter is responsible for supplying a continuous pipeline of strong candidates across currently open and future positions with American Pest via indirect and direct candidate sourcing, source channel optimization, and proactive development of talent pools. They work with hiring manager to review current and future needs to ensure candidates meet the needs of the various departments. The Sourcing Recruiter will work closely with the Recruiter to adjust targets and goals based on the overall applicant flow. Additionally, the Sourcing Recruiter works closely with local schools, colleges, and employment organizations to develop relationships and further expand our brand and applicant pool. They are also involved in the interview process as administering and tracking various HR related surveys.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Sourcing
- Work with Recruiter and Hiring Mangers to determine targets of sourcing efforts
- Use various sourcing directories to supply strong candidate pipeline
- Develop sourcing strategies most appropriate for the individual positions
- Track the effectiveness of sourcing directories and make suggestions of new possible sourcing channels
- Ensure effective candidate relationship management strategies are developed and utilized to build strong relationships with the passive and active candidate communities
- Build relationships with local schools/community colleges/universities
- Build relationships with local employment and career focused agencies/groups
- Attend local career fairs and other similar events
- Develop full internship/summer job programs for operations and other departments
- Interview Process
- Be actively involved in the interview process as needed
- Help train mangers and other team members on interview skills and candidate evaluation
- Track candidate and interview data
- Compile interview scores and notes
- Employee Administration
- Handle 90-Day New Hire Survey administration, tracking, and manager follow-up
- Track and compile exit survey data
Qualifications
- 2 years of full cycle recruitment or sourcing experience is preferred
- 2 years of experience developing and executing sourcing methodologies to include: market mapping, recruitment strategies, and Boolean searches
- 2 years of applicant tracking system experience
- Experience with passive candidate sourcing
- Experience developing diversity strategies
- Firm understanding behavioral interviewing
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, and HRIS (Workday experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in creating and delivering presentations to all levels of an organization
- The ability to travel as necessary
- The ability to multi-task and prioritize competing responsibilities according to urgency and importance
- Well-developed organization and time management skills
- The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
- High-school diploma
