WHAT YOU’LL DO 
As the Senior Manager, Publishing, you will:

  • Participate in issue planning, write stories, and proof content for Pharmacy Today
  • Review APhA content for accuracy
  • Participate in development of new technology for content delivery
  • Serves as a representative of APhA member needs in all areas of publishing. 

 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR 
APhA may be the right fit for you have:

Experience and Education required: 

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school or college of pharmacy. Post-graduate training is preferred.
  • 5 years of relevant experience or 1 year of a Residency/Fellowship and 2 years of relevant experience in an association or nonprofit.

 Skills, knowledge and abilities required:

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proven experience in pharmacology and content creation for pharmacists.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects in a timely fashion, adhere to deadlines, and plan projects effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and performance tracking tools.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Ability to travel to annual meeting.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and InCopy.  
  • Proficiency in AI-powered publishing tools and digital content management systems preferred.

 

LOCATION: Washington, DC – Hybrid, two days a week in the office (Tuesday & Thursday)
