Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and report on manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and operational expenses.

Prepare cost analysis reports to support budgeting and forecasting processes.

Monitor and analyze variances between actual and standard costs, and recommend corrective actions.

Develop and implement cost accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls.

Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.

Perform inventory audits and support inventory management processes.
-
Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

Prepare reports on product profitability, margin analysis, and cost trends.

Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager or Controller.
Qualifications
Qualifications:

3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV, SAP, Oracle).
