What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Cage/Credit Manager position at American Place?
Assist the Cage / Credit Manager in protecting all Casino Cage and Credit assets. Manage all supervisors and assistant supervisors. Work and interact with the Cage / Credit Manager in coordinating various job functions and with other departments in the process of job functions.
Essential Job Functions :
- Excellent internal / external guest service;
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all state and federal regulations;
- Prepare weekly cashier schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak volume periods and less staffing during low utilization periods;
- Make recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of cage;
- Assist Cage / Credit Manager at all operational levels;
- Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and coach Cage employees;
- Maintain and update computer programs with customer credit history and other information;
- Verify cage inventories to include cash, coin, chips, checks, and receivables;
- Maintain a positive atmosphere of teamwork between cage employees and other department employees;
- Other reasonable duties as assigned
