Description
American Plastics, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic-injection molded products for the household & garage storage and commercial cleaning end-markets. We are searching for Summer 2025 Maintenance Technician Interns to join our teams reporting to the Maintenance Manager for one of our five locations - Tiffin or Findlay, OH, Kingman, AZ, Jefferson City, MO or Simpsonville, SC.
This internship is designed to give Maintenance Technicians that don't have experience the opportunity to develop and learn more in the field of Maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Participate in corrective, preventive, and improvement work orders
- Learn and participate in routine equipment / facility repairs
- Learn and use root cause analysis when troubleshooting any process problems
- Performs preventive maintenance inspections (PMI) prior to Preventive Maintenance (PM)
- Gathers information for performance improvements during PM activities
