Duties & Expectations On The Job
- Ensure that all presses are running quality approved parts.
- Able to identify potential causes for qualify defects.
- Work with team members to correct quality defects.
- Complete first Piece Approval Process at the beginning of each shift.
- Hourly quality checks.
- Accurately completing all reports and able to communicate findings.
- Inspecting and testing all material as it enters the facility.
- Additional testing as assigned.
- Train others on quality standards.
- Follow all American Plastics safety guidelines.
- Additional responsibilities at management discretion.
Requirements for this position include:
- Able to stand for extended periods of time, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting to 40 lbs. and up to 80 lbs. team lift.
- Communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
- Quality experience is a plus but not required.
- Must demonstrate good judgement and decision-making ability.
- Highly motivated and independent.
- Adhere to all safety procedures & help promote a clean work environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
