American Pool DMV is seeking energetic, social, and motivated applicants for entry level recruiting positions in our staffing and recruiting office!
Our entry level recruiter position is a full time and year round position that engages in the hiring, training, onboarding, and scheduling of our seasonal lifeguard staff! The position is perfect for someone who enjoys being social and wants new challenges. The position is in person and is based out of our office in our Columbia, MD office. No prior experience in recruiting, HR, or aquatics is necessary! This is the perfect job for someone looking to break out of retail, food service, or retail and is looking to gain experience in an office setting!
Our recruiters will gain experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, HR tasks and HR systems, using an applicant tracking system, scheduling, enforcing HR policies, and more. Training is provided and is part of our onboarding process.
The Ideal Applicant
- Loves interacting with people! Whether meeting future applicants at a job fair, interviewing applicants, or working closely with other members of the recruiting team this position is all about working with other people!
- Isn't afraid to learn new skills. Learning how to schedule interviews, navigate our applicant tracking system, mastering our scheduling and time keeping system is part of the process.
- Wants to get started on a career. We are looking for candidates who want to build new skills, establish their position, and develop.
- Loves being a part of a team! Our staffing and recruiting departments approaches almost every task as a team and we are constantly working together on all of our processes.
- Can connect with our younger hiring base. Our primary hiring base is 15 to 19 years old and our ideal candidate is someone who can really connect and reach candidates in this age group!
Requirements
- Available to work a full time position (Monday-Friday with weekends on a rotation during our Summer months. Year round)
- Valid Driver's License and the ability to pass an MVR as well as a basic background check
- Strong social skills
- Some knowledge of G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc) and basic computer literacy
- Organizational skills
- Aquatics experience (even as a lifeguard!) is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
