What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Assistant position at American Pool Enterprises Inc.?
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Payables Assistant, you’ll get to dive right in and help keep things running smoothly in our finance department. You’ll assist with processing invoices, handling payments, and making sure everything is in order. But it’s not just about payables! You’ll also pitch in with other admin tasks across the company, helping out wherever needed. No two days are the same, and there’s always room for you to grow and take on new responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and track vendor invoices and payments (don’t worry, we’ll train you!)
- Keep records organized and up-to-date, making sure everything matches and runs smoothly
- Help with weekly payment runs and assist the finance team in making sure everything stays on track
- Communicate with vendors to resolve any payment issues (don’t be afraid to pick up the phone!)
- Assist with basic administrative tasks across the company, as needed
- Help out with month-end tasks and assist the finance team with ad-hoc projects

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
