American Pool is hiring full-time, seasonal Swimming Pool Route Technicians for our outdoor maintenance pools! This role’s main responsibility is overseeing the daily operations of approximately 10-12 swimming pool facilities within a geographic area. The position type and region you will be hired for will be determined during the hiring process and will be based on your location.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Inspecting, cleaning, and servicing the indoor and outdoor pools.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of pools and completion of the pool technician log and checklists.
- Checking the water chemistry levels and correcting these parameters to comply with industry standards.
- Maintaining a quality relationship with all property managers.
- Troubleshooting minor mechanical issues and performing repairs or directing these needs to the Regional Manager.
- Checking equipment and chemical inventories and informing the Regional Pool Manager of any restocking needs.
- Completing required reports and maintaining facility cleanliness
Pool Service Staff Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Be a team player, motivated to learn, and customer oriented
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have good organizational and communication skills
- Have a fun, positive attitude
- Hold a valid driver's license (DMV Check required) and access to reliable transportation
- No aquatics experience required! Come willing to learn and with a positive attitude, and we will train!
Pool Service Staff Schedule and Compensation:
- Work 5 days a week with scheduled days off discussed during the hiring process
- Starting rate of $17.00/hour
- Weekly, Non-Taxable Allowance of $30/day for Personal Vehicle Expenses
Start and end dates are flexible based on applicant's availability, but the position begins in May and runs through late August/early September.
This is a temporary, FLSA Non-Exempt, summer seasonal position.
