Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration
- Implement individualized care plans to meet the specific needs of each person
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care
- Monitor and document individual progress and any changes in behavior or health
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care for each individual
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the individuals
Qualifications:
- Experience or training in caregiving for people living with a disability
- Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility needs
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Understanding of senior care, assisted living, or social work principles
