What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer/Haul Truck Driver position at American Pro Staffing?
We are looking to immediately hire LABORERS/OFF ROAD TRUCK DRIVERS for our Island, KY, site.
This is a great opportunity to get hired on through a very well known, respected company.
Must be OSHA 10 Certified (WE COVER OSHA TRAINING AND COST)

SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Up to 36 hours- potentially more
Requirements:
- Must have experience, skillfully operating and driving OFF ROAD WATER TRUCKS, Tandems, Triaxles, or Articulating Haul Trucks. CAT 745C - VOLVO A40- TEREX T40
- Must be detailed and result-oriented with an ability to work in a cross-functional, fast paced and constantly evolving environment as well as extended hours, as required.
- Operates trucks of various sizes and weights in the loading, hauling and unloading of various equipment, materials and supplies.
- Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or repairs to the supervisor.
- Spot Trucks and Equipment
- Clean and Prepare sites as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean job site
- Shovel materials to and from construction areas
- Assist with replacing riprap, liner, geotextile, and seeding/strawing
- Grease Equipment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to work in extreme indoor and outdoor environments, hot sun, cold air, wet weather, mud, loud noises, etc.
- Have and use, full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
- Ability to work in various positions including but not limited to; stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, squatting, walking and sitting for extended periods of time.
- Be able to lift, pull, push, carry materials and equipment to complete assigned job task.
