What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Controls Scheduler position at American Process Management?
We are seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to join the team at American Process Management (APM). APM brings real-time analytics and financial analysis to capital projects ranging from $100 million to over $3 billion in total cost.
This is a full-time, on-site position located approximately 30 miles west of Prattville. Per diem may be available for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the logic, activities, constraints, and milestones to provided fully integrated Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project schedules
- Engage with project management, engineering, and construction teams to develop and maintain project and program schedules
- Maintain resource loaded integrated master schedules
- Support implementation of Earned Value Management
- Conduct project site walk-down and coordinate with project teams to update schedule to reflect current status and work plan
- Review and analyze schedules prepared by contractors
- Read and interpret construction drawings and job specifications
- Assess the impact of design and scope changes
- Analyze and communicate all schedule changes, project delays, and areas of risk
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software
- Knowledge of critical path method of scheduling
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
