Responsibilities
- Assist prospective tenants in finding suitable rental properties by providing detailed information on available units.
- Conduct property tours and showcase amenities to potential renters.
- Manage the application process, including data entry and file management.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi and CMMS for tracking leases, maintenance requests, and tenant communications.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and lease agreements.
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with the facilities management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and ready for showings.
- Stay informed about local real estate trends and market conditions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in property leasing or real estate administrative roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with tenants.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for effective data entry and file management.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
