What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Agent position at American Property Management?
We are seeking a friendly, fun, experienced Leasing Agent / Consultant to join our team at a beautiful apartment community near the San Marco area!
Candidates must have outstanding customer service and sales ability and strong verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, candidates must be organized and possess strong computer skills. Prior multifamily leasing experience is required. This is a full-time position; must be able to work two to three Saturdays per month. Bilingual language skills (English and Spanish) are a plus but not required. We offer competitive pay (hourly pay plus leasing bonuses), as well as opportunity for advancement.
Job Requirements:
Performs leasing, marketing, customer service and administrative duties, to include:
- Leases and markets vacant and upcoming apartments.
- Completes all leasing paperwork.
- Compiles and processes applications for approval.
- Explains lease and all appropriate addenda to new resident.
- Walks apartments and reports all necessary improvements.
- Assists with resident relations.
- Enters in all fees, deposits, and new lease information.
- Shows apartments to prospective lessees.
- Accepts rental payments.
- Other duties as assigned.
