We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team in the Southside / Mandarin area. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining compliance with Fair Housing regulations. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with prospective tenants while managing administrative tasks related to leasing.
Responsibilities
- Assist prospective tenants in finding suitable rental properties by providing detailed information on available units.
- Conduct property tours and showcase amenities to potential renters.
- Manage the application process, including data entry and file management.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi and CMMS for tracking leases, maintenance requests, and tenant communications.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and lease agreements.
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with the facilities management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and ready for showings.
- Stay informed about local real estate trends and market conditions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in property leasing or real estate administrative roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with tenants.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for effective data entry and file management.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
