As we continue to grow, we are seeking a licensed Insurance Customer Service/Agency Book Manager to support our existing clients and ensure smooth management of our agency’s book of business.
Position Overview:
This role is client-focused and service-oriented, with no pressure to sell. The Insurance Customer Service/ Agency Book Manager will handle all aspects of managing existing policies, processing renewals, and assisting customers with their insurance needs. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has experience working in an independent insurance agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with policy changes, billing questions, and claims inquiries.
- Manage the agency’s book of business, ensuring policies are up to date and renewals are processed in a timely manner.
- Assist clients with coverage reviews, endorsements, and policy modifications as needed.
- Communicate with insurance carriers to ensure smooth policy servicing and resolution of any issues.
- Support the agency team with policy documentation, record-keeping, and compliance requirements.
- Utilize agency management systems (e.g., NowCerts, Momentum) to maintain accurate client records.
- Proactively follow up with clients on policy renewals and account maintenance to ensure continued satisfaction.
- Educate clients on coverage options, policy terms, and risk management strategies.
- Work collaboratively with the team to streamline agency processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license
- Experience in an independent insurance agency is preferred
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverages, and carrier guidelines.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional approach.
- Proficiency in agency management systems and CRM tools/technologies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
- No sales pressure—this role is focused on client service and policy management.
