We at American Psychiatric Group/First Responders Medical Care are a rapidly growing healthcare provider for all
frontline workers in the state of Maryland. We take pride in our frontliners and want to
give them as many opportunities as possible to be in their peak physical condition while
they are serving our communities. We perform various tests in house at each of our
clinics such as EKG, Stress, Echo, Ultrasounds, Pulmonary Function Tests, Bloodwork,
Sleep Studies, ABI, and Urinalysis.
We are urgently hiring an Internal Medicine Physician to lead our new clinic location in
Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities
● Conduct routine check-ups for patients to assess their health condition and
discover possible issues
● Order radiology and laboratory tests
● Analyze reports, examinations and test results to accurately diagnose patients
● Determine an informed treatment plan based on scientific knowledge and the
patient’s medical history
● Refer patients to specialists when necessary
● Explain treatments and medication thoroughly with patients
● Give appropriate advice on lifestyle and diet changes that could help improve
patient health
● Follow all departmental policies and procedures
● Comply with federal and state privacy laws, always respecting a patient’s
confidentiality

Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
● Doctor of medicine (MD) degree or a doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO)
degree.
● 3 to 7 years’ internship and clinical residency training, specializing in internal
medicine.
● Successful completion of the Internal Medicine Certification Examination.
● Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in internal
medicine.
● Valid and active medical license in the state you wish to practice.
