American Psychiatric Group is a client centered Community Based Mental Health and Substance Use Program in heart of Baltimore. The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program is seeking for a Licensed or Certified Mental Health Professional to join our team and provide clinical oversight to our program.
PRP Rehabilitation Specialist
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a Licensed Mental Health Professional or is a Rehabilitation Counselor who is currently certified by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification or a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner currently certified by the U.S. Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.
Must have at least two to three years’ experience of working with children and adults with mental health diagnosis.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for organizing program services and providing. oversight for the daily program of rehabilitation services, knowledge of ICANOTE is plus
Oversee service delivery by completing assessment screenings.
Reinforce COMAR and CARF regulations.
Obtain authorization for PRP services.
Develop Individualized Rehabilitation Plans (IRP).
Supervise Rehabilitation Counselors.
Review and sign client’s daily contact notes and monthly progress notes.
Monitor/observe the work of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Coordinator and review documentation for quality and clinically-sound practice.
Educate direct service staff on how to provide rehabilitation services to correlate the goals identified in the individual’s Rehabilitation Plan.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
ADDITIONAL COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to pass criminal background check.
Must have CPR/First Aid Certification
