At the American Public Power Association (APPA), we serve as the voice of not-for-profit, community-owned utilities that power 2,000 towns and cities nationwide. We represent public power before the federal government to protect the interests of the more than 54 million people that public power utilities serve, and the 96,000 people they employ. We have an exciting opportunity for a Database Intern who will work with our member database on a range of activities, including researching organizations, creating and updating records, generating reports, and verifying data outputs.
Requirements
- Experience working with databases, Salesforce and/or Fonteva experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in teams and independently
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to complete long- and short-term projects and tasks on schedule
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
