Duties
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive estimates for construction projects.
- Utilize estimating software to develop precise cost calculations.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information for estimates.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to maintain cost control.
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
