Fencing estimator

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating commercial and residential jobs and project management, with the ability to analyze project specifications and prepare accurate cost estimates. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive estimates for construction projects.
• Utilize estimating software to develop precise cost calculations.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information for estimates.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to maintain cost control.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills

• Proficient in construction estimating techniques and methodologies.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience using software for estimating purposes.
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and make informed decisions based on findings.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per week

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
