Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills to handle various maintenance and repair tasks efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and is dedicated to providing high-quality service. As an apprentice role, you will work under an experienced Handyman while gaining knowledge of a multitude of household and commercial maintenance items. You will be responsible for ensuring that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, painting, drywall, carpentry, and other related tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify issues that require attention.
- Respond promptly to service requests and complete work orders as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding the status of repairs and any additional recommendations.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of various household maintenance areas.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and provide practical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
