Accounting Analyst Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in accounting and/or finance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Proven ability to manage processes independently within a lean team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- High level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive financial data.
- Self-starter capable of thriving with minimal supervision.
Accounting Analyst Duties
- Collaborate with the Controller to manage accounts payable, receivable, and financial reporting.
- Post journal entries and complete monthly bank reconciliations.
- Oversee expense reports and purchase orders.
- Support monthly and quarterly closing, annual budgets, audits, and system implementations.
- Prepare documents for external audits and performance reports for renewable energy investments.
- Review compliance documentation from portfolio companies.
- Provide analysis and reporting support for company performance.
