Our prestigious hospital in Southern California is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Director for Surgical Services to join our dynamic healthcare team. As the Nursing Director, you will provide strategic leadership, direction, and oversight to our Surgical Services department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and promoting a positive working environment for our nursing staff.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for the Surgical Services department in alignment with the hospital's mission and goals.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Surgical Services department, including staffing, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Foster a culture of excellence in patient care, safety, and customer service within the Surgical Services department.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care and effective patient outcomes.
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practice.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to enhance their skills and promote professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to patient care by promoting effective communication and teamwork among healthcare providers.
