Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licenses Nursing Home Administrator to oversee daily operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure resident needs are met, maintain regulatory compliance, and support the facility’s business goals. Key responsibilities include managing staffing, financials, resident care, marketing, and community outreach. A solid understanding of federal, state, and local long-term care regulations is essential.
Key Responsibilities :
Facility Management :
- Collaborate with management staff to set priorities, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure high-quality nursing care, facility cleanliness, staff morale, and resident satisfaction.
- Maintain interdepartmental teamwork and utilize consultants effectively.
- Serve as the facility Compliance Officer.
Compliance & Quality Assurance :
Stay up to date on all regulatory requirements and ensure the facility meets or exceeds industry standards.Participate in surveys and audits by authorized agencies and implement any necessary corrective actions.Resident Rights & Care :
Ensure compliance with all resident rights regulations and provide leadership in delivering exceptional care.Staffing & Retention :
Oversee HR practices to ensure compliance and foster a positive work environment.Manage recruitment, training, and staff development to ensure adequate staffing levels and high morale.Conduct annual performance reviews for management staff and set development goals.Business & Financial Management :
Manage facility budgets, control costs, and monitor business practices to ensure compliance with financial protocols.Work with marketing teams to implement strategies to increase census, revenue, and market share.Community Outreach & Relations :
Build and maintain positive relationships with regulators, families, healthcare providers, and the local community.Other Duties :
Facilitate and attend meetings, contribute to committees, and ensure staff development through ongoing education.Physical and Sensory Requirements :
The role involves walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and fine motor skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and staff, remain calm under stress, and follow training protocols.Qualifications :
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in good standing with the state.Preferably 2-4 years of experience in long-term care administration.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience to meet state licensure requirements.Strong communication skills to interpret complex regulations.Ability to develop relationships, coordinate plans, and comply with state and federal rules.Must maintain regular attendance and fulfill essential job functions, with or without accommodation.Must be Licensed.Additional Information :
