Job Title:                               Manager, Tax

Position Location:             Remote Work from/ Miami, FL

Schedule:                             Hours can be flexible but may need to accommodate certain international time     zones from time to time      

Position Overview:

Bridgewest Business Group, a U.S. and international private investment company is seeking a senior tax professional to add to its full-time team.  Responsibilities and tasks would include the following:

• Interaction and oversite of outside tax professionals and tax compliance (U.S. and Foreign)  
• Assist internal personnel in developing financial and tax information to be provided to outside tax firms and consultants 
• Reconciliation of tax returns with internal financial statements
• Oversight of tax information necessary for U.S. international reporting including foreign bank accounts and foreign entity financial statements
• Assist Accounting and Management team in tax planning and strategies for businesses and family members
• Liaison between outside accountants and Management team or family members
• Research and develop solutions for less complex tax issues including income, payroll and other tax areas
• Assist with Audit and Corporate Tax Compliance
• Tax preparation work including providing estimates, provisional and final taxation

Candidate Requirements:

Candidates must have 3-5 years prior tax experience and the ability to prepare less complex LLC returns is desirable.  Ability to keep track of tax law changes in foreign countries and assess impact on US taxation for individuals and entities.  Familiarity with international tax issues and foreign currency exchange impact on taxation is helpful, but not required.  Ideal candidates will possess the following characteristics:
