Who You Are:
We are currently searching for an Estimator, reporting to our Service Delivery Manager, to add to our service delivery team to deliver the highest standard of quoting and material resourcing. This is a perfect opportunity for a self-starter, who strives to resolve issues in creative ways, is detail-oriented, reliable, able to collaborate with their team, and enjoys being a part of a supportive, growing company.
In this role, you will be able to jump in and make an immediate impact. Specifically, you will:
- First and foremost, resonate with our mission, vision, and values as an organization and foster a culture of accountability within our workforce that reflects these values.
- Utilize your 3 years of experience in construction estimating and/or proposal writing, preferably with residential and commercial projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Identify labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Analyze potential risks and provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs.
- Help maintain an updated database of costs, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Develop, write, and assemble detailed proposals tailored to client’s job requirements for commercial construction projects.
- Ensure proposals comply with RFP/RFQ requirements and are submitted on time.
- Track and analyze bid results to identify trends and improve future estimates and proposals.
