In this competitive role, you work in an office setting with a team to identify through genealogical research potential heirs and help connect them with their lawful inheritances
Who are we looking for?
- Engaged learner interested in the complexities of probate research
- Effective making large number of outbound calls to potential heirs and handling inbound calls
- Ability to problem solve and correctly assess research, laws, and risks to make good decisions
- Good organizational skills and able to prioritize a variety of tasks
- Sense of urgency to collaborate with team members and complete daily tasks
Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time salaried position with benefits at a well-established company
located in a quiet suburb of Salt Lake City. Salary is dependent on qualifications.
In addition to the base salary, employees may be rewarded with discretionary bonuses.

Requirements and Considerations

Responsibilities
The work involves the evaluation of new opportunities usually on a daily basis. First, it is determined if there are missing or unknown heirs and if the case presents a financial opportunity for ARB. Strong research and problem solving skills are needed to identify the lawful heirs. In addition, excellent communication skills are needed to engaged the potential heirs as ARB clients. The ability to multi-task and prioritize work is essential in order to handle the expected case load.

- Tenacious in their ability to research and problem solve to connect heirs with their rightful inheritance.
- Creative and Collaborative in their ability to work within a team setting. Understands how to build effective communication with others, both individually and collectively.
- Articulate and effective in contacting individuals, including by telephone, to gain their trust and become ARB clients. Shows resilience and professionalism, easily handling rejection during interactions while maintaining a positive and empathetic demeanor.
- Discerning with minimal supervision in reviewing details to determine if the case presents a good financial opportunity for ARB. Regularly works on moderately complex projects/cases.
- Efficient with a sense of urgency in using ARB tools to prioritize daily and weekly tasks while also staying focused on achieving long-term goals.
- Attentive in ensuring key documentation is identified to support the claims of ARB clients. With the help of others, stays on top of complex laws, regulations or situations related to a case.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in years of experience with a strong preference for research and evaluation, or a related field. Detailed training to ensure you are successful in this position will be provided by our experienced staff for candidates who meet necessary qualifications.
- Skilled at gathering accurate information by thoroughly researching cases. Able to analyze and distill complex data into clear, concise communication, both in writing and verbally. Excels at presenting findings and persuading individuals over the phone with confidence and clarity.
