What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Professional - Home Services position at American Residential Services?
American Residential Services offers a unique opportunity for Outside Sales Representatives to build long-term relationships with customers and provide them with comfort through simple heating, cooling, and air quality upgrades or whole system replacements.
Our Sales Professionals are equipped with the tools and resources necessary to succeed, including a company-provided take-home vehicle, gas card, phone, and computer, minimizing overhead expenses.
As a Sales Professional at ARS, you can expect:
- A comprehensive compensation package, with uncapped commission opportunities and potential earnings ranging from $100k to $200k per year
- Weekly settlements after training, allowing you to earn a draw or commission on your sales
- Ongoing training and development opportunities, including technical, sales, safety, leadership, and systems training, provided by our in-house Learning & Development team

Requirements:
- Prior experience selling residential services in the home
- Some locations may require HVAC-specific experience
- Ability to travel to pre-set appointments throughout your assigned area using a company-provided work vehicle
- A proven work ethic with excellent customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to put in long, sporadic hours and/or weekends as needed
- Ability to work in attics and crawl spaces regularly
- All candidates must undergo pre-employment drug screening, background checks, and possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
Salary : $100,000 - $200,000
