Job Summary:
Our Home Restoration Company is seeking an experienced Repair Manager to oversee the
reconstruction and repair phase of restoration projects. This role works closely with the Mitigation
Manager, taking over after mitigation is complete to restore homes to their pre-loss condition. The
Repair Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing subcontractors, ensuring high-quality
workmanship, and maintaining efficient project timelines. The ideal candidate has a strong background in
residential construction, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take over projects from the Mitigation Manager after mitigation work is completed.
- Develop and execute repair plans to restore properties to their pre-loss condition.
- Manage subcontractors, including scheduling, quality control, and contract compliance.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets company standards and customer expectations.
- Communicate regularly with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and internal teams to keep
projects on track.
- Oversee budgeting, material procurement, and labor allocation for repair jobs.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the reconstruction phase.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports and job cost tracking.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in residential construction, restoration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of repair and reconstruction processes, including drywall, flooring, painting,
and carpentry.
- Proven experience managing subcontractors and job schedules.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, estimates, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with insurance restoration work and estimating software (Xactimate experience
preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Pay Range: 75-100K
