We have need for restoration technicians. The Restoration/Mitigation Technician engages in activities necessary to restore commercial and residential property damaged by fire, smoke, water, mold, and other factors. Respond to job sites and perform all tasks in accordance with industry standards

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Set, monitor, and move equipment needed for water extraction and drying of premises, including reading and recording of data
- Move, pack, store, catalog, and bar code customer contents, including household furnishings and other goods
- Demolition of property and debris removal
- Take samples to test for contaminants
- Perform structural and content cleaning and assist with mold and biohazard clean-up
- Maintain and create accurate and detailed measurements, diagrams, photos, journals, work orders, and other documentation, as required for each job, including data entry into job management and data tracking systems, using multiple software databases
- Communicate details of work performed, and job status clearly and succinctly with clients, managers, team members, and other parties
- Maintain a neat and orderly worksite and obey all safety rules and regulations in order to prevent work hazards
- Maintain work truck in a clean and organized fashion; ensuring it is stocked with the equipment and supplies necessary to perform all work required at designated job sites
- Participate in Continuous Improvement and training efforts
- Assist other departments and technicians as needed
- Education/Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated, stable work history
- Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record (minimum age 21 for insurance), as well as reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screening
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends, and participate in the on-call rotation for emergency after hours calls
Experience
- Prior work experience in restoration services, a plus
- IICRC certification highly desired
- Estimating experience, a plus
