**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Compliance Officer with healthcare and preferably home health experience to oversee compliance efforts across our five entities within the Home Care Agency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing compliance programs tailored to the unique needs of our industry, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Develop, implement, and oversee the corporate compliance program to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
2. Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate compliance risks within healthcare and home care settings.
3. Establish, update, and enforce policies and procedures aligning with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
4. Monitor legal and regulatory changes to ensure organizational compliance.
5. Conduct regular audits, investigations, and evaluations to identify compliance issues and areas for improvement.
6. Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees, leadership, and contractors.
7. Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies, ensuring timely responses to audits, inquiries, and investigations.
8. Oversee reporting mechanisms for employees to report compliance concerns and ensure proper resolution.
9. Maintain records of compliance activities, audits, and corrective actions.
10. Collaborate with legal, human resources, finance, and clinical teams to ensure compliance across all divisions.
11. Address and resolve conflicts of interest, ethical concerns, and privacy issues.
12. Prepare compliance reports for leadership and the Governing Body, highlighting key compliance metrics and initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Healthcare Management, or related field; Master's degree or JD preferred.
2. Extensive experience in compliance, risk management, or similar roles within healthcare, with a focus on home health care.
3. In-depth knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards.
4. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
5. Certification in Healthcare Compliance and Ethics is a plus.
