Role Summary
The role of a Customer Experience Specialist is pivotal within our Corporate Customer Experience division. Located in Arlington, TN, this position involves close collaboration with Account Managers and clients to facilitate streamlined order management, technical quote creation, and customer assistance. Post-training, a hybrid working model is available, enhancing flexibility in a team-based and briskly moving environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Primary contact for clients through phone, email, and occasional face-to-face interactions
- Assist in new client setups, coordinating with the accounting team for smooth onboarding
- Oversee order input and processing spanning multiple locations using ERP/MRP systems
- Craft technical quotations in partnership with Account Managers
- Facilitate order transitions between facilities, ensuring punctual processing and delivery
- Handle Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and mediate between clients and production teams
- Gather client prints and specifications for precise order fulfillment
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Accounting, and Production to address client inquiries and resolve order issues
- Track and follow up on client Purchase Orders (POs) to confirm prompt processing
- Ensure PO documentation is accurate and modify system entries accordingly
- Support Accounting in managing communications about overdue accounts

- Experience in customer service within industrial manufacturing
- Skilled in ERP/MRP systems (Knowledge in Infor CloudSuite (Syteline) is advantageous)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote)
- Basic grasp of engineered drawing and print reading symbols
Educational Background and Experience
- Completion of high school; Associate or Bachelor’s degree is desirable
- A minimum of three years’ experience in customer service within an industrial milieu
- Familiarity with rubber, urethane, or specialty coatings is preferred
