Compensation: $25.00-$27.00/HR
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Manufacturing Accounting Administrator to support our production operations. This role is responsible for BOM (Bill of Materials) assembly, job auditing and closure, inventory management, invoicing, MRO purchasing, and accounting support. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting and an understanding of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- BOM Assembly & Management: Create and maintain Bills of Materials to ensure accuracy in production planning and cost tracking.
- Job Auditing & Closure: Review completed jobs to verify costs, materials, and transactions are correctly recorded, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and reconcile inventory levels, track material transactions, and support cycle counting processes.
- Invoicing: Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy in billing and cost allocation.
- MRO Purchasing: Manage Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) purchasing, ensuring timely procurement of necessary supplies while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Accounting Support: Assist with financial reporting, cost accounting, and reconciliation processes as needed.
- ERP & System Navigation: Act as a system "super user" to ensure accurate data entry, process adherence, and troubleshooting related to job costing and financial transactions.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in cost accounting, job costing, or financial reporting within a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with production and finance teams.
- Ability to analyze financial data and understand the impact of job closures and material transactions on company financials.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
