Are you an experienced Plumber & Drain Cleaning Technician looking for a fast-paced, high-reward career? American Rooter is hiring motivated Service Technicians to join our growing team. We provide stable, full-time work, a competitive base salary, and uncapped commission potential for additional earnings.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential plumbing systems. The job includes, but is not limited to:

General Plumbing Repairs:

• Diagnosing and repairing leaks in pipes, valves, and fittings
• Repairing and replacing water supply lines and drain lines
• Installing, repairing, and replacing faucets and fixtures
• Diagnosing and repairing water heater issues
• Replacing and installing garbage disposals
• Replacing and servicing shut-off valves and pressure regulators

Drain & Sewer Line Services:

• Diagnosing, locating, and repairing outside sewer line clogs and breaks
• Operating hydro-jetters, sewer snakes, and augers to clear drain and sewer blockages
• Conducting video camera inspections and using locators to pinpoint issues
• Repairing or replacing broken sewer lines

Customer Service & Reporting:

• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers about their plumbing issues
• Providing accurate diagnoses and recommendations for repairs or replacements
• Completing work efficiently and professionally while maintaining a clean job site
• Documenting services performed and materials used

What We’re Looking For:

✔ Must be independent, a problem solver, and a team player

✔ Valid PA driver's license with a clean driving record
✔ Ability to operate sewer cameras, locators, and drain cleaning equipment
✔ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Excellent customer service and communication skills
✔ Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.18 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
