We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Experienced Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Those with current Arkansas Private Security Credential's will move to the front of the line. IF you have documented leadership experience, please mention it during the initial interview. Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to detect suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as needed.
- enguage in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques when necessary.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations.
- Prepare detailed reports of daily activities and any incidents that occur during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
- Give directions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all inbound and outbound freight movement.
Experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in security training or related fields is a plus.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is beneficial.
- A military background may be considered an asset.
- Be familiar with basic computer skills
