ASC Administrator In Training
As an Administrator In Training (AIT), you will spend meaningful time learning and participating in various functions, departments and roles throughout an ASC Long-Term Care Facility. You will get exposure to ALL aspects of daily work in a Long-Term Care setting, from sales and operations, to hands-on resident care, to dining management.
What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?
- Gain a greater understanding of the components involved with the management of a healthcare facility.
- Perform various support functions throughout the facility for the Executive Director and for each department.
- Rotate throughout the various departments to both assist and acquire knowledge of the functional operations of each area in order to become better equipped to manage a facility at the end of the training period.
- Actively participate in the daily duties of all other areas of community operations, including culinary and nutrition, housekeeping and environmental, admissions and marketing, as well as learn Activities Scopes, financial and Profit and Loss basics and ASC community administration standards.
- Learn compliance standards according to ASC guidelines and federal and state regulations.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, healthcare or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Prefer 1-3 years of previous management experience. Health care exposure preferred.
