Learn the tasks required to be a project manager for a thriving subcontractor. Starting tasks will depend on previous experience, as will starting compensation. Eventually tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Communication with customers and vendors via phone & email
- Document review, prep, and organization
- Field (jobsite) walks and physical measure
- Review, takeoff, and manage construction plans and specifications
- Budget creation and tracking for projects
- Material procurement
- Supporting & Managing installers in the field through completion of the project.
Major qualifications include:
- Proficiency with technology and Microsoft office programs
- Self motivated and desire to excel in all tasks - Ready and willing to learn - "I will get it done" attitude.
- Valid CA Driver's License and insurability (responsible record)
- Basic to advanced math & language skills
- Basic hand tool knowledge, especially reading tape measures and understanding fractions of inches UOM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
