The Assistant Manager is the key in assisting the store manager to ensuring that we meet that goal. The Assistant Manager is responsible for overall profitability, people development, and driving the operational aspect of the business. The Assistant Manager achieves assigned goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner, keeping their Store Manager partnered in on challenges and opportunities. They represent the Company Vision, Values and Brand in their store. The Assistant Manager has a broad range of executive responsibility in store operations. Here is a summary of some of the functions you the Assistant manager will perform: Assists in the hiring, training, leading and retaining of high quality team members who exhibit passion, energy and enthusiasm Assists Store Manager to ensure a deep talent bench by continuously developing internal talent, as well as attracting external talent Uses metrics to coach the proper behaviors needed to be a world class selling organization Manage office and warehouse payroll within budgeted guidelines Eliminate non-productive deliveries by utilizing best practices Provides feedback and innovative ideas to supervisor on building a more profitable operation Ensure proper execution of best practices related to delivery preparation and delivery process Partners with the Human Resources team to stay on top of all training, development and legal requirements Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
