What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emerging Leaders Summer Internship 2025- Web Developement (Hybrid) position at American Signature Inc.?
American Signature Inc is committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive work environment where everyone’s perspective is valued. To that end our 2025 Internships will be offered to high-achieving students who identify with a group that is historically underrepresented in corporate leadership including (but not limited to) Black, Hispanic, Native American, Asian, and female. The program’s goal is to attract and prepare these students for future leadership opportunities within our organization. This year’s Internship program will be Hybrid – students will need to be in our Columbus, OH offices 2-3 days a week.

We encourage interns to invest in themselves and grow their personal and professional skills. Through our internship program, we offer a professional development series, leadership speaker series, and community building activities to connect with team members all over the company.

As The Web Development Intern, You Will
- Learn to develop web pages, digital campaign assets, and email campaigns with HTML & CSS.
- Interact with Creative/Design team to learn about design concepts and translate them into executable eCommerce content and campaigns.
- Communicate effectively and work closely with the development & design team.
- Work diligently to understand and meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Learn to work with developers and designers.
- Learn to apply knowledge of HTML5/CSS.
- Test and QA code, including cross-browser and cross-platform displays and performance.
- Work in various site analytics platforms to learn how our site measures results.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Basic knowledge of web-related technologies and desire to learn, including HTML, CSS and design tools, JavaScript and jQuery.
