We are looking for a Traveling Gastroenterologists to join our small team that services multiple locations in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. This position requires a dynamic professional who is flexible and experienced in working in diverse environments.

Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations.
Diagnose gastrointestinal diseases and conditions through appropriate tests and imaging.
Perform endoscopic procedures, including biopsies and polypectomies.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Provide education and support to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.
Stay updated on advancements in gastroenterology practices and technologies.
Qualifications :
Board certification in Gastroenterology is required.
Strong clinical expertise, with an emphasis on gastrointestinal procedures (Colonoscopies, EGD's)
Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Able to complete Live Scan and State Wide Gate Clearance to qualify for position
Skills :
Proficient in medical terminology related to gastroenterology and related fields.
Strong understanding of medical imaging techniques relevant to gastrointestinal diagnostics.
Experience with suture techniques for minor surgical procedures.
Knowledge of addiction medicine as it relates to gastrointestinal health.
