Essential Functions

1. Achieve agreed upon regional renewals and new business sales targets.
2. Take charge of a defined set of prospective member organizations in terms of outreach (email/phone, Teams, Zoom and in-person visits) to reach agreements
3. Work closely with Sales Operations to generate datasets and basic analyses for presentations and proposals
4. Negotiate terms and handle contractual aspects within defined guidelines
5. Present ASM’s relevant journals portfolio through our S2O movement and create proposals for representatives of research organizations (usually librarians)

7. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily calls and weekly progress reports plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses

6. Presentation & Written Communication Skills ¬– either “one-on-one" or within a group setting, employing the use of various media to share ideas, convey information, and obtain necessary inputs in a clear and concise manner.
7. Enterprise Processes and Technologies – Understands and effectively uses standard office equipment such as personal computers/laptops, and office automation software. Uses new, specialized or the organization-specific equipment, technologies, software, databases, and systems, as required, in accordance with the organization policies. Up to date on social media and uses it appropriately on behalf of ASM.

Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role and may sit or use PC for long periods of time. Bending, reaching, or stooping may be necessary for use of filing cabinets or other office cabinets or office machines. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Salary Range

$84,264.84 to $109,586.85 USD
