Seeking a board-eligible / board-certified Hematologist / medical oncologist to join a well-established team at Swedish Cancer Institute's growing First Hill Hematology and Cellular Therapy Program. Swedish is a leading site in the Pacific NW and in the US for early phase clinical trials in hematologic diseases. Physicians within this FACT accredited hematologic malignancy program focus on clinical care of patients from around Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho with blood cancers who also may need cellular therapies (autologous stem cell transplant, CAR T cell therapy, investigational cell therapies). This team strives to bring novel therapies such as CAR-T and other immunotherapies to patients who need them. Be a part of groundbreaking research and provide meaningful care in the cultural hub of Seattle, Washington.

An ideal candidate will be comfortable with hematologic malignancies, non-malignant hematology (classical / benign heme), autologous stem cell transplant and cellular therapy, and will have experience working in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. There is potential to create a focus in one of the following areas : classical hematology & myeloid stem cell disorders (MDS, MPNs, acute leukemias etc), plasma cell disorders (myeloma, amyloid etc), or mature lymphoid malignancies (CLL, B-cell and T-cell lymphomas). Clinical research experience, in particular phase 1 research experience / interest is particularly welcomed. Enjoy outstanding quality of life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

  • Compensation is between $362,336 and $596,835 per year
  • The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality / service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
