We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio-Visual Technician to join our Columbus team, specializing in entertainment venues, schools, and corporate offices. The Audio-Visual Technician will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of audio and video equipment, ensuring top-notch performance for all events and presentations. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in diverse and dynamic environments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install audio and video equipment in commercial environments like schools, higher education buildings, corporate offices, and entertainment venues
- Ensure proper functionality of sound systems, projectors, and video displays in different client settings
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on AV equipment
- Maintain an inventory of AV equipment and supplies
- Assist in the design and installation of AV systems
- Test equipment to ensure seamless operation
Job Requirements:
- Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years experience as an AV Technician
- Working knowledge of Commercial Audio Video Systems
- CTS preferred
- Working knowledge of IP Video & Voice systems preferred
- Working knowledge of Cabling and Cat6 cabling preferred
- Working knowledge of Audio Video Cabling preferred
- Working knowledge of CATV system installation preferred
- Working knowledge of Audio Video Control Systems (AVCS) preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read and interpret schematical drawings
Job Compensation and Details:
- Pay- $25-33/hr with potential bonus at year end
- Shift Time and Days- 8am-5pm, M-F with rare off hours
