Our Columbus location is looking to add a Business Development Coordinator to our growing team! The ideal candidate will focus on cultivating relationships with enterprise, healthcare, and education clients, with an emphasis on business development. This role offers the chance to work closely with a dedicated technical engineer and requires strong communication skills and a creative approach to solution selling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Focus on building and maintaining relationships with enterprise, healthcare, and education clients through ongoing communication and support
- Dedicate the majority of efforts to new client outreach, including identifying prospects, initiating contact, and following up on leads
- Identify new business opportunities and create viable sales pipelines through actively networking with commercial and corporate groups
- Work closely with the technical engineering team to ensure client requirements are understood and met with customized solutions
- Support market research activities to identify trends, client needs, and new service opportunities
Job Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in commercial AV, technology, or solutions-based selling
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Proven history of excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Experience using sales databases or CRM systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively within a team
- High attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Details and Compensation:
- Shift time and Days- Day shift, M-F
- Annual salary draw- $80k-90k, once draw is achieved, additional commission is offered at 25% gross profit
