Major Accountabilities :
Prepare batch recipe (s) and deliver to aseptic processing area in compliance of current GMP, SOP, FDA, MDA, HACCP, SQF regulations.
Batching will require precise measuring and weighing of material.
Receiving and storage of raw materials in accordance with FIFO, Organic, Kosher, allergen, and other prevailing company and government policy
Responsible for accuracy of receiving documents and verifying receiving receipts and lot code numbers with P.O. and computer log-in receiving requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Raw material use : use corrects ingredient(s) on a FIFO basis
Maintain accrete daily log, check-sheets records and computer logs.
Maintains other shipping records such as goods returned, returnable pallets, and other item details.
On received goods, checks and counts all items unloaded checks suppliers' count and lot numbers and reports discrepancies to carrier and to purchasing office. Collects information for damage claims on in-transit damage and log in computer.
Maintain personal and work area cleanliness in compliance of current GMP, SOP, FDA, MDA, HACCP, SQF and any prevailing food safety and sanitation regulation.
Maintain effective communication with Purchasing, production planning, Quality Control and aseptic process department.
Assist with monthly inventory count.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements :
Must be physically able to climb up and down ladders and / or stairs and lift 50 lb bags waist high throughout the course of work shift and during high Temperature and humid days.
