What are the responsibilities and job description for the Final Assembly Technician position at American Spray Technologies?
Final Assembly Technician wanted - Equipment Manufacturer located in Auburn is seeking a person with mechanic and/or assembly experience. Training in auto, small engine, compressors, or hydraulic systems a plus.
Duties include assembly of new gas powered spray equipment. You will be working with Kohler gas engines, compressors, hydraulic controls, trailer wiring and pump assemblies & pneumatics.
Assemble new equipment
Install motor and compressor on new equipment
Install hydraulic parts and hoses
Assemble pump and install on new equipment
Assemble hose sets
Functional test of equipment
Preparing rig for will call or shipment
5S methodology as part of lean manufacturing
Keep work area clean/shine – A place for everything – Continuous Improvement
Ownership of work area
End of day procedure includes 10 minute clean-up period.
Attend course on Lean Manufacturing
Support tech calls as needed
Learn trouble shooting step process
