Position Scope:
The Quality Control Manager maintains the quality of the facility with written procedures, laboratory documentation, and sample integrity by establishing and maintaining quality systems for all cGMP regulated material and finished products at American Spraytech.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Approval of all written processes involved in the manufacturing of cGMP regulated materials and finished products produced.
- Monitoring and enforcing the limits of acceptable quality and written specifications for each component, raw material, and finished product.
- Assure that products are manufactured according to established specifications.
- Final authority to review all records, and to approve and/or reject any materials or finished product.
- Ensuring the performance and quality of products conform to establish standards.
- Works directly with operating management to ensure that audits are conducted on a yearly basis as specified to enforce requirements and meet specifications.
- Establishes and ensures compliance with good housekeeping.
- Reconciling of all finished products.
- Establishes policy and strategy during new product start-ups, and key checkpoints for new products and processes.
- Review and approve controlled documentation related to testing such as, analysis reports, forms, validation documents or technical documents originating in other departments.
- Provide resources to support the stability program method validations, technical transfer, method transfers and validation/qualification activities at the site.
- Monitors and establishes the internal and external laboratory audits and responds to all audit observations in a timely manner.
- Reviews and approves the results of contract laboratories.
- Supervise and trains a staff of quality personnel.
- Involved in all quality decisions and is in a position to communicate the decision to Management.
- Ensures paperwork is done legible and correctly
- Ensures all job jackets are completed and in order.
- Ensures all analysis reports meet specifications

- Knowledge of customer requirements

- Knowledge of chemicals is a plus

Qualifications and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a science-related field
- At least 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Personal care industry experience preferred
